A bit about us.
I was born in Southern California but have spent the majority of my life in Northern California where I have been a commercial and architectural photographer for over 30 years. Formerly known as Duane Gillett Photography, my work has been featured in galleries, national and international publications along with several magazine covers.
I've always enjoyed photographing the beauty around me. Whether it’s waves crashing on the rocks or the beautiful lines of a well designed building. As a commercial photographer, most of my work is in the construction, industrial and manufacturing industries. I love the challenge of creating visually interesting images for industries that most do not consider glamorous.
Understanding my clients needs and how the images are to be used is a vital
step in the creative process. I know the vision behind the images are as important as the images themselves. It's humbling to have companies put their trust in my abilities to create images that will be used to help grow their company.

Aimee Chiofalo is my assistant and second shooter on commercial jobs, lead photographer for portraits, weddings, events and love of my life. Along with being a talented photographer and all around amazing woman, she has done just about everything expanding on her creativity. She has worked in independent films as a set designer, set photographer, prop management and producer, acted in films and television and was an online radio personality on her weekly Rock Talk USA program.
Prior to working full time at Red Tail Photography, Aimee worked in a trauma center for 20 years helping others and saving lives. Aimees is a blessing to my life and a great addition to Red Tail Photography.
